Volunteers will have a key role to play in the success of our services and we need YOUR opinion. As a Wellness Centre volunteer, your experience is unique to each program to which you have so generously given your time.
What did we do with your feedback last year?
Last year’s feedback volunteers asked for more equipment and the repair of equipment that’s currently being used throughout their duties at the centre. Well we’re knee-deep in renovations to the multi-purpose room of the pavilion which hosts all of our key volunteering activities, so we’re on it! We hope to see this project fulfilled in a timely delay and will keep you up to date on the process as soon as there is news! It was also mentioned that the support from supervisors was greatly appreciated and so we’ve concentrated our efforts on helping supervisors to get closer and assist volunteers in getting integrated into the team effort. We also held a live training session calling on the expertise of our in-house occupational therapist as well as the Alzheimer’s Society to better equip you with the changing & growing challenges of senior care.
