Volunteer Satisfaction Survey 2017-18

Volunteers will have a key role to play in the success of our services and we need YOUR opinion. As a Wellness Centre volunteer, your experience is unique to each program to which you have so generously given your time.

What did we do with your feedback last year?
Last year’s feedback involved a request for more training on adapted transportation as well as recruiting to bolster our teams and respond to the needs of seniors getting to medical appointments and we did just that and more. All suggestions are welcome, big and small to make your experience a great one. Did you use our MyVolunteerPage this year? Let us know what you though about it – we will embrace it or dump it based on your feedback.

What was your cumulative feedback this year?
You shared an overall satisfaction with the support and management we provide, citing that the most valued resource is the supervisor and support from staff. Different from last year, many of you said they are motivated to volunteer with us to socialize and to give back to the community. Unsurprisingly you felt that a connection to people largely increased the meaningfulness of the work you do. Volunteers asked for more equipment and the repair of equipment that’s currently being used throughout their duties at the centre. We will get working on that!
