Join us for our first-ever afternoon at the circus! The Cirque les Dudes will present a free and fabulous circus show, “Stories in the City,” outside in the garden at Saint Brigid’s Home on Saturday, August 30th at 1:30 p.m. This 45-minute show has music and humour for the whole family. Stories in the City” blends circus, music and humour in a captivating and heartfelt way. The show transports audiences into the extraordinary world of a playful and mischievous duo—partners both on and off stage. Inspired by their real-life story, they find laughter in the everyday moments of a relationship while performing a dazzling array of circus acts, including hand-to-hand acrobatics, unicycling, juggling, hula hoops, the Cyr wheel and magic.
With a mix of planned and unexpected moments, the performance will take you on a journey through funny, poetic and exciting scenes, celebrating love and humanity through the magic of humour.
