Transform Together is a group offering support for trans and non-binary teens aged 14-17 at Quebec High School.
Over 10 weeks, Transform Together aims to provide opportunities for trans and non-binary student participants to build community connections, feel empowered about themselves, gain knowledge of community resources and build a stronger sense of belonging in their community. During the sessions, participants can expect to suggest subjects for discussion and take part in group discussions.
The 45-minute long sessions will take place on Wednesdays during lunchtime from October 2 – December 4, 2024.
The Transform Together sessions will be led by Sean Mann, a master’s student in social work at Laval University, in collaboration with the Jeffery Hale Community Partners. Sean completed his internship in 2023 at QHS and now is looking forward to promoting empowerment and social acceptance amongst trans and non-binary students with the Transform Together initiative!
