Social Club

Where

Usually held at Quebec High School, 945 avenue Belvédère, G1S 3G2

Age group

Ages 12 to 21.

The Social Club is for teens and young adults who are on the autistic spectrum or who have challenges related to social skills, such as anxiety or Tourette’s. It’s a safe and welcoming space where participants can practice skills they may have learned in class but in a less formal setting than school, while at the same time, offering respite to parents.

It also offers the opportunity to develop and maintain meaningful relationships from friendship to romance.

The group members plan the activities themselves, which may include cooking, games, movies, hobbies, etc.
