How Much Sleep Does a Kindergartener Need?

Isleepyf your son or daughter is heading off to kindergarten this fall you may want to ensure s/he is getting enough sleep to enjoy learning and the whole school experience. Participaction and the Public Health Agency of Canada have just released 24 Hour Movement Guidelines for Children 5 to 13 years of age. For the first time ever hours of sleep is mentioned as research shows a large percentage of North American kids aren’t getting enough shuteye.
