This event is a community partnership event with Lifelong learning. It is open to all adults in the Quebec City area and Caregivers.
Overall, 60% of adult Canadians report some hearing loss. In older adults, hearing loss often happens gradually over time. This loss can easily go undetected. It may interfere with communication and often leaves seniors feeling quite isolated and misunderstood. It can also become a common source of frustration for caregivers. However, support is available.
Join us for an information session with Janie Durette, audioprosthesist, to learn more about :
• Signs and causes of hearing loss
• The impact of hearing loss
• Aids and other tools to help improve hearing and communication skills
Registration required as places are limited.
After registering, you or your loved one can benefit from an appointment for a free hearing test.
To register or for more details, please contact Anaïs Fortin-Maltais, Caregivers’ Circle Coordinator: afortinmaltais@jhpartners.net
