Cardio-Dance with the Quebec City Women’s Club in the gym !
A cardio dance class begins with a warm up dance of three to five minutes. The dance starts slowly to the music and gradually increases in speed for the next 30 to 45 minutes. If one foot remains in contact with the ground at all times the aerobic dance is a low-impact exercise. When both feet come off the floor, even for a short time, it becomes a high-impact exercise. Workouts should cause moderate sweating, and if you can’t sing along to instructor Anne le Brun’s wonderful choice of music while doing your workout you are going at it too hard. The class ends with a three- to four-minute cool down followed by stretches.
