Need breastfeeding support? Don’t miss the next Breastfeeding Get-together

UNFORTUNATELY we have to cancel this activity for Tuesday, July 16 as renovations have made access to this room impossible. The activity will return in the fall in our newly renovated multipurpose room. Stay posted for the updated schedule!

The Breastfeeding Get-together takes place once a month on a Tuesday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Art room in the second floor of the Jeffery Hale Pavilion.  This is a great place to get support from Shelley Dupuis, certified Breastfeeding Consultant with Allaitement Québec and  to connect with other English-speaking moms.  Each session has a theme. There’s a scale on site to check baby’s growth.   Everyone is welcome – including expectant moms, moms who previously breasfeed as well as  those of you who don’t breastfeed but want to get out of the house and enjoy  good company!

Parking is free in the Jeffery Hospital parking lot. Due to renovations access to the front door of  the JH Pavilion is currently blocked. You have two other options to get to the  second floor of the Pavilion with your stroller.

Option 1:  Enter via the Hospital front door. Take the elevator to the ground floor and come across using the tunnel. Then take the elevator to the second floor of the Pavilion.

Option 2:  You can also enter the pavilion by the back door and take the wheelchair elevator to the first floor where you can  catch a second elevator to the second floor. If you don’t have a stroller you can just walk up the stairs!

Our apologies for the inconvenience. Please know a warm welcome awaits you  despite the detour! The next session is Tuesday, July 16  and the topic is Introduction of Solids.
