The Breastfeeding Get-together takes place once a month on a Tuesday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Art room in the second floor of the Jeffery Hale Pavilion. This is a great place to get support from Shelley Dupuis, certified Breastfeeding Consultant with Allaitement Québec and to connect with other English-speaking moms. Each session has a theme. There’s a scale on site to check baby’s growth. Everyone is welcome – including expectant moms, moms who previously breasfeed and even those who didn’t but want to get out of the house and enjoy good company!
Parking is free in the Jeffery Hospital parking lot. Due to renovations in the JH Pavilion the easiest way to get to the second floor of is to enter via the Hospital front door. Take the elevator to the ground floor and come across using the tunnel. Then take the elevator to the second floor. You can also enter the pavilion by the back door and take the stairs. Unfortunately you cannot access the elevator at that entry at the moment. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Please know a warm welcome awaits you despite the detour! The next session is Tuesday, March 26 and the topic is Milk Extraction .. Where? When? How?
